Buffalo Mn. Apple Orchard Saturday Sept 27, 2008

Last Saturday the 27th of September my friend Heidi and I took the girls to an apple orchard. It was a beautiful day for apple picking. It was my friends idea we go since I have never been to one. When we got home we made Apple Butter, Applesauce and Apple Crisp..Yum Yum

Fall is here

We went to the park on a beautiful fall day. Lilly found some ducks to chase. She is always on the go, you would think I would be skinny from chasing her around!

I am worn out!!!!!!

TODAY I HELPED MOVE MY SON AND HIS FAMILY INTO A NEW TOWNHOME. IT WAS HOT AND HUMID..YUCK!!! WE STARTED AT NOON AND FINALLY GOT DONE AROUND 9:30, I CAN TELL I AM GETTING OLD. I WEAR OUT MUCH SOONER THEN THEM. SO I TOOK LILLY HOME WITH ME TO MY CAMPER AND LET THEM FINISH ALL THE UNPACKING, I DO NOT CARE FOR THAT PART. I HOPE TO GET MORE PICTURES ON SOON. I JUST HAVE BEEN SO BUSY SINCE I ARRIVED HERE IN MINNESOTA ON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND....DID SOME ONE SAY VACATION....NOT!!!!!!!!BUT,HEY I AM NOT COMPLAINING,I LOVE SPENDING TIME WITH MY GRANDDAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY. IT WILL BE A SAD DAY WHEN I HAVE TO LEAVE..SOUNDS LIKE WE WILL NOT BE MOVING LIKE WE HAD PLANNED. TODD HAS WORK IN NEBRASKA FOR NOW. SO I GUESS I KEEP PRAYING THAT SOMEDAY WE WILL BE ABLE TO BE BACK IN MINNESOTA FOR GOOD. WELL ENOUGH FOR NOW..I WILL TY TO POST MORE PICTURES SOON.....MISS YOU ALL BACK IN NEBRASKA

SPRING IS ALMOST HERE!!!!

WE WENT TO THE LAKES MONDAY ON A BEAUTIFUL 60 DEGREE DAY. I CAN FEEL SPRING COMING SOON. WE LET THE KIDS RUN OFF THEIR ENERGY. GODS NATURE IS SO WONDERFUL TO VIEW. I NEED TO TAKE MORE TIME OUT OF MY LIFE TO ENJOY IT.

Thankgiving with Lilly

Here are a few pictures of Lilly in her Thanksgiving dress. We had so much fun with her being here. I will post more pictures later of my son and daughter in law decorating my house.

Minnesota 10/07

Here are some new pictures from my trip to Minnesota...This time it was me,Jessica,Caitlyn and Hannah that went. We also had our good friend Kelly Love with us,as she was going to a ladies retreat in Wisconsin, so she rode up with us. The drive went so fast with all the visiting we did, I think I will take her with me everytime!!! As always it was nice seeing everyone. Our granddaughter Liliana is cooing and smiling all the time. She seems to be so advanced in just one month. Her mommy & daddy are taking great care of her, she is such a happy and content baby. So far the Lord has allowed me to see all of them every month since she has been born. I am BLESSED!!!! They will be coming to Nebraska to spend Thanksgiving with us and then we will be joining them at Christmas. I LOVE BEING A GRANDMA!!!!!!!!

AND AWAY WE GO

THE KIDS GOT TO GO ON FREE AIRPLANE RIDES A FEW WEEKS AGO....THATIS ONE OF THE BENIFITS OF LIVING IN A SMALL TOWN, ALOT OF THINGS ARE FREE!!!! HANNAH EVEN GOT TO TAKE THE THROTTLE AND DRIVE.

GETTING OUR FILL

This is Jacob, my friend Danny's baby...He is only 2 days older than Lilliana, our granddaughter. We call him over when we need to fill our need to see our granddaughter...not really, but it is nice to compare and see the growing changes. It has worked out so far that I have been able to see her once a month and guess what? That month is due again(yay!!!) I am leaving in 2 weeks to go see her and her mommy & daddy, I really miss them too. Even though they think I only come because of her.

Here are a few pictures of the kids enjoying Lilly..As you can see she never gets put down while we are there. There are actually lines for waiting to hold her at times.

Back from Minnesota

We just got back from Minnesota Sunday night. We had a great time visiting with our family. We stayed with our son Joshua and our daughter in law Dhani and of course the newest addition...Liliana. It is so nice to see how they are adjusting being parents. I am very proud of them. Dhani let me take care of Lilliana through the night during our stay and I loved it. I think I might have spoiled her by letting her sleep on my chest for 3 nights in a row...opps. But I wanted to cherish every moment I got with her. I will have to give them a call to see how she did through the night sleeping back in her bassinet. Todd enjoyed spending time with her also as this was the first time he got to see and hold her. It was hard to share her with him too..lol, not really. She has really grown in a month. She just stares into your eyes and coo's. I also got to get a 5 generation picture. Enough for now, I will post more later
